public class NetworkingImbalancePlugin
extends DiagnosticsPlugin

The NetworkingImbalancePlugin is an experimental plugin meant for detecting imbalance in the IO system.

This plugin will probably mostly be used for internal purposes to get a better understanding of imbalances. Normally imbalances are taken care of by the IOBalancer; but we need to make sure it makes the right choice.

This plugin can be used on server and client side.

If set to 0, the plugin is disabled.

getPeriodMillis

Returns the period of executing the monitor in millis.

If a monitor is disabled, 0 is returned.

If a monitor should run only once, a negative value is returned. This is useful for 'static' monitors like the SystemPropertiesPlugin that run at the beginning of a log file but their contents will not change.
