public interface StaleReadDetector

Used to detect staleness of Near Cache data. During NearCache.get(Object), if one or more invalidations are lost for a key, we will make near cached data unreachable with the help of StaleReadDetector and next get() from the Near Cache will return null to force fresh data fetching from underlying IMap/ICache.

ALWAYS_FRESH

static final StaleReadDetector ALWAYS_FRESH

This instance will be used when Near Cache invalidations are disabled. It behaves as if there is no stale data and everything is fresh.

isStaleRead

boolean isStaleRead(Object key,
                    NearCacheRecord record)

Parameters:

key - the key

record - the Near Cache record

Returns:

true if reading with the supplied invalidation metadata is stale, otherwise returns false

getPartitionId

int getPartitionId(Object key)

getMetaDataContainer

MetaDataContainer getMetaDataContainer(int partitionId)

Parameters:

partitionId - supplied partition ID to get value

Returns:

MetaDataContainer for this key
